Job Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Roles & Responsibilities

Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.

Reconcile Vendor statements timely by working with Vendors to resolve any outstanding items.

Reconcile and verify all invoices before processing for payment - Including but not limited to past-due balances, remit to address, and bill to address.

Assist Senior Accountant with bookkeeping, clerical duties, and managing accounts.

Maintain Vendor filing system.

Day-to-Day Duties

Receive, log, obtain approvals, code, scan, and enter invoices.

Maintain A/P invoice log daily.

Verify coding and approvals on all invoices and check requests.

Reconcile Vendor statements by working with the Vendor to resolve outstanding invoices.

Check clearing in Enertia banking module.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other Characteristics

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Solid People Skills And Attention To Detail Required

Strong organizational and time management skills

Requirements

Minimum Two years of experience in Accounting or Finance

A/P experience

Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and MS Outlook

Pay Range: Hourly $26-$28.00 DOE
