Accounts Payable Clerk

Hourly: $21.00 - $26.50

Reports to:

Controller

Basic Function:

Responsibilities:

•

Match all Invoices to receipts/packing slips for Job Related Costs

•

Work with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure correct matching process

•

Code, process and file all AP invoices across all business units

•

Code, process and file all inventory allocations across all business units

•

Create all Vendor Invoices

•

Enter all Vendor into QuickBooks once w9 and Vendor applications are received

•

Create weekly payment schedule for Controller to approve

•

Cut all associated checks and collate invoices for approval and signature

•

File all checks after they have been approved and posted

•

Perform monthly vendor reconciliations, identify and resolve any discrepancies

•

Monitor costs; ensuring pricing list matches vendor’s pricing

•

Cut referral and promotion checks

•

Maintain 1099 file for year end 1099 filing

•

Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors

•

Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills:

•

3 – 5 years previous experience in a fast-paced Accounts Payable Department

•

Prior construction / manufacturing / solar / cost accounting experience

•

Experience working in a team environment

•

Quick Learner and ability to ask questions

•

Independent and highly motivated self-starter

•

Ability to work between departments

•

Good communications and human interaction skills

•

Computer literacy and utilization of programs such as Microsoft Suite, QuickBooks and SalesForce

•

Accurate with a high attention to detail

•

Strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

•

Excel skills: v-lookup, pivot tables, data manipulation

•

Ability to communicate and present data related to the role

•

Ability to create reports

•

Ability to work under pressure

•

Process automation / control
