Accounts Payable Clerk (Part Time)

NSB Omega is searching for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in Lima, OH. This is a short term role with 20-25 hours per week.

Assignment Description

The main function of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to monitor the accounts payable inbox. In doing so, this person will triage and post invoice. This person will also respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.

Responsibilities:

- Triage invoices

o Determine if an invoice is PO or non-PO

- Post approved invoices

- Reconcile vendor statements

- Respond to vendor inquiries

- Monitor AP inbox

Skills:

- Verbal and written communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.

- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.

Education/Experience:

- High school diploma or GED required

- Associate's degree in accounting or related financial discipline preferred

- 0-2 years financial and/or accounting experience required
