As our Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our cash flow. From invoice processing to billing support and monthly close activities, your work will directly impact the health and momentum of our business. Note: this position also includes Office Manager responsibilities.
· Process vendor invoices with speed and precision.
· Work closely with field and operations teams to validate and code expenses.
· Keep AP ledgers current and reconcile regularly.
· Organize, generate, and issue accurate customer invoices.
· Collaborate with clients to clear discrepancies and documentation needs.
· Record and track payments, maintain clean AR ledgers.
· Provide aging reports and AR status updates.
· Contribute to month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
· Manage employee expense reports and company credit cards.
· Set up GL accounts and maintain financial records.
· Experience: 5+ years in AP/AR and general accounting. Bonus if you’ve worked in oil & gas services or construction contracting.
· Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting is a plus.
· Tech Savvy: QuickBooks Desktop + Excel proficiency.
