Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will lead and support key financial reporting and accounting functions across multiple entities, including responsibility for managing the month-end close process, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, and producing quarterly and annual financial statements. The position plays a critical role in integrating newly acquired assets, including overseeing accounting transitions and purchase price allocations, and preparing technical accounting analyses and memos.
The ideal candidate will lead the year-end audit process, support debt compliance reporting, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, construction, tax, and finance, to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role involves training team members in accounting policies and performing various ad hoc tasks as needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:•Perform the month-end close process for multiple entities, including booking journal entries and preparing account reconciliations
•Lead the integration of newly acquired assets
•Lead all accounting transition aspects for newly acquired assets including purchase price allocation
•Prepare of technical accounting analysis and memos
•Prepare quarterly unaudited financial statements and annual audited financial statements
•Lead the year-end financial statement audit process
•Assist with debt compliance including preparation of schedules for quarterly submissions to lenders
•Working closely with the local operations/construction teams on any accounting related topics
•Training personnel in accounting policies and procedures
•Working with the tax department to ensure tax compliance
•Other ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks, as necessary
Working Conditions:
•Hybrid work schedule – 3 days per week in office; 2 days per week remote work
•Open office work environment
•Occasional work outside of normal business hours
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, business or related field.
•5+ years’ auditing/technical advisory experience in a big-4/mid-tier public accounting firm
•4+ years’ experience working in corporate industry
•CPA professional designation
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with NetSuite accounting system preferred, but not essential
•Energy industry experience is preferred, but not essential

Position Pay Range:
•$150,000 - $175,000 total annual cash compensation including annual bonus
