Position

Accounting Clerk, Edmonton

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Superintendent, Finance, this position will be based in the Edmonton Office, AB.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and reconcile fuel reports to ensure accurate tracking and cost allocation.

- Prepare and administer employee expense claims. Verify receipts, match claims with supporting documentation, and process reimbursements.

- Reconcile bank statements to ensure all transactions, including those related to operational expenses and equipment purchases, are accurately recorded.

- Assist in preparing ad hoc financial reports.

- Track and reconcile inventory of mining supplies and equipment.

- Assist reconciling the general ledger.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

- Minimum one (1) year experience working in a junior accounting capacity with preference towards a mining or production oriented industry.

- Post secondary Diploma in Accounting or Finance.

- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA considered an asset.

- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, including advanced formulization, pivot tables and analytical tools.
