As an Accounting Associate, working within the finance department at PanelClaw, you will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger entries. You will collaborate with all teams and contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting. This is a hybrid position, wit two days per week in office.

What You’ll Do:

•

Maintain accurate and up to date general ledger entries. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare journal entries and ensure proper coding and classification of transactions.

Over see accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Review and process invoices, payments and expense reports. Coordinate with vendors and clients to resolve billing and payment issues.

Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Identify opportunities for automation and streamline workflows.

•

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards. Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

•

Utilize accounting software and enterprise resource planning(ERP) systems effectively. Provide support in system implementation, upgrades and troubleshooting.

•

Prepare, report and pay sales tax.

•

Perform any other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

•

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field

•

Minimum 2 years’ experience processing accounts payable and general accounting

•

Experience handling sales tax payments, preferred

•

Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

•

Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting

•

Experience with MS Dynamics 365, preferred

•

Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

•

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

•

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

•

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

•

What We’ll Offer

We offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $27-29 per hour, if located in the Massachusetts market. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission, depending on their position. If your desired salary falls outside of these rates, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
