Ebco Metal Finishing LP is a leader in the metal finishing industry with over 70 years of experience. We support a wide range of clients - from large outdoor structural projects to high-precision decorative and close-tolerance finishes for high-tech industries. Our two facilities, totalling more than 60,000 sq. ft., are the largest in Western Canada, enabling us to manage high-volume production and accommodate very large components.

We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative Assistant to join our head office, located at 15200 Knox Way, Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate is ethical, friendly, reliable, highly organized, and committed to accuracy and continuous improvement. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.


Responsibilities:


Office Administration

- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, greet customers, suppliers and other guests on premises

- Sanitize and keep tidy Reception and all other areas of the Office

- Generate requisitions and purchase orders for office and shop supplies

- Distribute mail

- Prepare coffee

- Water Office plants

- Filing, help with archiving old invoices and Work Orders and prepare new filing boxes

- Any tasks assigned by managers


Accounting

- Create and print work orders for production and shipping department

- Print aged work orders report for shop floor

- Check prices and other documents received from shipper and shop foreman

- Prepare customer invoices and distribute to customers/Accounting by email/mail

- Revise invoices as needed, issue credit memos and notify Accounting

- Contact customers and collect payments

- Deposit customer cheques

- Assist with Credit Card processing

- Generate various reports for accounting, production, sales department and management

- Assist with inventory tracking and count


Qualifications:

- 3+ years office administration experiences, prefer in a manufacturing environment

- Friendly, polite, good at phone

- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills

- Familiar with Microsoft office suite

- Account receivable and payable experience is an asset

- Attention to details

- Strong planning and problem-solving skills

- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines

- Have valid driver license and a car

Employee will work in office, due to the location, local applicants only.


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
