Reports To: Senior Manager, Asset Management Accounting EMEA
The Accountant, Asset Management is responsible for the full cycle of financial reporting, including banking, treasury, accounts payable, payroll, preparation of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow forecasting, and yearly budgeting. The General Accountant must perform a range of duties for the accounting team to ensure that financial results are reported on time on a monthly,
- Cash management including process vendor and inter-company payments globally, bank reconciliations, cash analysis, and treasury report.
- Prepare full cycle accounting, prepare, and post journal entries for the month-end close process.
- Perform other accounting cycle duties, such as accounts payables, accounts reconciliations, prepare monthly inventory and costing reports.
- Assist in managing accounting books of the local and parent companies.
- Prepare periodic surveys, government tax audits, and financial audits.
- Create ad-hoc analytical tasks and communicate findings to the management as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance.
- 3+ years of progressive work experience in a full-cycle accounting function.- Experience with global and multi- currency environment.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Excellent time management skills.
