You will be responsible for developing, selling and servicing accounts while building customer relationships and supplying the company with market information. This involves communication through our E-Commerce platform, phone calls, chat system, and email.
1. Direct communication with our customers- Quoting customers, following up with customers after quotes are provided, utilizing negotiation skills to win orders, and communicating market information
2. Customer Service- Timely responses to customer requests, order entry, and order status updates
3. Creating relationships with customers and other departments within Rolled Alloys- Credit, Field Sales, Internet Sales, Sales Support, Scheduling, Metallurgical Services, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams
4. The ability to communicate effectively through multiple platforms- Via email, through the website, and phone calls
5. Efficiency with computers and relevant programs
6. Being able to stay organized and flexible in stressful situations
> Attention to detail, analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, and basic math skills
> Time management: capable of organizing, prioritizing, and planning independently
> Good communicator: both verbally and in writing
> Reason and logic to make important decisions
> Personable and positive in a team environment
> Desired Experience: 2 years in a BTB sales role (industrial sector a plus)
> Standard office environment, with prolonged periods of sitting and utilizing a computer
> Opportunities may exist that will require travel for face-to-face visits with customers (< 10% travel)
