Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our growing landscape services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, supporting high-quality service delivery, and driving account growth and retention. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with a customer-first mindset. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating with field operations and internal teams to ensure outstanding service and timely follow-through.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as their trusted point of contact.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery by collaborating closely with field operations and scheduling teams.
- Proactively monitor client accounts to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Support account growth and retention by identifying upsell opportunities and communicating service enhancements.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Accounts Payable and Operations to resolve client billing questions and service needs.
- Manage service agreements and contract renewals; negotiate changes and ensure client expectations are met.
- Track all account activities, communications, and service milestones using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
- Conduct periodic account reviews and site visits to maintain client satisfaction and ensure service standards are met.
- Provide reporting on client feedback, account status, and opportunities for improvement or expansion.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activity to recommend improvements or new offerings.
- Proven experience in account management, customer service, or sales—preferably in landscaping, construction, or field services.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, or similar platforms, for tracking interactions and managing pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate across departments to support service execution, billing, and issue resolution.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Familiarity with landscape industry services is a plus.
- Professional demeanor with a focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
