Account Managerfor our
Bucyrus office. This position is crucial in supporting customer relationship management within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have knowledge of finances, extensive experience in manufacturing purchasing and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Customer Relations
: Serve as the first line of contact for customer inquiries, addressing questions related to orders, shipments, product availability, and pricing.
- Supplier Relationship Development
: Build and maintain long-term, professional relationships with suppliers, focusing on communication and efficient order fulfillment. Visit customers to further develop relationships.
- Production & Inventory Coordination
: Collaborate with the sales team to forecast customer needs and set production schedules accordingly. Create customer picklists for warehouse shipments. Manage and reconcile inventory levels.
- New Product Approvals
: Coordinate the approval process for new parts, ensuring proper documentation is obtained and tracked throughout the approval process.
- Sales Support
: Assist sales representatives in identifying opportunities for new business and ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently.
- Software Skills
: Strong knowledge of purchasing, and invoicing. Proficiency with
Sage50
or similar accounting software.
- Customer Service & Communication
: Excellent communication skills to effectively manage inquiries and issues related to billing, pricing, and products.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized
: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and follow up on multiple tasks.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
: Expertise in
Microsoft Excel
for inventory management, and forecasting.
- Inventory & Cost Management
: Experience in managing inventory levels, understanding cost structures, and ensuring financial accuracy in supply chain processes.
- Manufacturing Experience
(preferred): Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and how financial and customer processes intersect with production schedules.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Able to maintain long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers while ensuring the accuracy of financial processes.
