Abstractor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced abstractor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of researching lands in various states from sovereign to present day.

Duties
- Understand and interpret various title

- Understand mineral severances

- Provide detailed runsheets on various mineral and surface owners researched with all entries being identified

- Create a flowchart representing the chain of title.

Skills
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in certified patent abstracting and title research.

- Knowledge and ability to effectively use email, Microsoft Word and Excel

- Knowledge of HBP wells and production

- Effective communication with Project Managers

- Meet deadlines

- Positive attitude

- Ability to travel to various states when needed for a minimum of 3 weeks at a time when records are not available online.
