Job Summary: Operate and monitor equipment necessary for heat-treating process.
- Operate and monitor equipment necessary for heat-treating process.
- Evaluate, assemble, and disassemble loads for processing.
- Instruct helpers as required.
- Perform in-process inspection.
- Forklift duties include: maintaining a forklift certification and moving parts.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Assists Supervisor in training functions as directed.
- Ensures security and proper use of company equipment, tooling, and supplies.
- Adheres to all safety standards and procedures, and maintains an ongoing awareness of safety for self and others in assigned work areas.
- Participates in company sponsored training as required.
- Learn to perform Leak Tests on vacuum furnaces via INSTR-048.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
- Heat treat experience preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Abel to follow instructions.
Working Conditions: Working on the processing floor where there is dirt, dust, oil, processing chemicals, and varying temperatures. During the summer it is very hot; in the winter it is cool.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
