2nd Shift Industrial Material Handler with crane experience

Our Plant Manager, Supervisors and Leads meet with Human Resources on a weekly basis to talk about ways to improve our shop culture.

Here is what the job entails:

Material Handlers at Merrill Steel use overhead cranes to move structural steel pieces such as columns, I-beams, and trusses, throughout the various departments within the shop. It is crucial that Material Handlers understand weight distribution, have good math skills, and most importantly have a high regard for safety. Safety is key since the product is extremely long and heavy, the Material Handlers must carefully transport these throughout the bays, around working employees, and machines.
