We are seeking motivated and safety‑conscious
Underground Summer Studentsto join our mining team for the upcoming summer term. This position provides a unique opportunity to experience underground mining firsthand while contributing to daily production, safety, and operational activities.
Students will work alongside experienced miners, supervisors, and support teams to gain an understanding of underground workflows, equipment, and mining practices.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with daily underground operational tasks, including:
- Helping with general underground duties
- Supporting crews with material handling, barricading, and housekeeping
- Performing basic equipment checks and reporting defects or hazards
- Setting up and maintaining underground work areas
- Assisting with transportation of tools, supplies, and consumables
- Participate in safety meetings and follow all underground safety protocols
- Perform manual labour tasks as required to support production and development teams
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program (any field of study welcome, however, mining specific programs will be given priority)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working underground (all training provided)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift, climb, and perform manual tasks
- Commitment to working safely at all times
- Must be 18 years of age to work in underground environment
- Rotating shift schedule, 7 days on, 7 days off
- Underground work required
- Must have own transportation to and from mine, no camp available, however, some accommodation can be made on a case-by-case basis
- All required training and PPE provided
The company reserves the right to determine final selection and number of summer students hired. In the event, there are more applicants, than number of positions available, the Company will determine selection, based on previous site experience, good standing with grades and preference for students pursuing or currently enrolled in a course of study that is related to the mining industry.
To be eligible to apply,
student must be a minimum of 16 years of age to work on surface and 18 years of age to work in underground operations.
