Working Foreman-Communication & Control

Role and Scope of Position: Responsible for providing direction to personnel and/or carrying out assignments which require extensive experience in planning and performing a variety of system wide technical assignments associated with the installation, acceptance testing, maintenance and/or repair of protective relay systems/equipment for Eversource. The specific system/equipment responsibilities include, but are not limited to, electromechanical and solid-state protective relaying, powerline carrier, DTT (Direct Transfer Trip), SCADA (Supervisory Controls & Data Acquisition), IEC 61850 Systems, HMIs (Human Machine Interface)/mechanical based annunciators, DFRs (Digital Fault Recorders), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), pole-top reclosers, and system RTUs (Remote Terminal Unit). Individuals will ensure the use of human performance tools/work procedures and will be responsible for supervising/training employees assigned to them while ensuring the completion of all work assignments in a safe and timely manner.
