SiteWorks Construction & Excavating, LLC is a growing small business that operates in the Rochester, NY and surrounding areas. We do both residential and commercial work, everything from concrete, paver patios to site work, commercial remodels and additions. We pride ourselves on our versatility and craftsmanship.
We are looking for responsible, hardworking, reliable individual with a variety of skills to join and help lead our team.
· Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel.
· Coordinate schedules for crew members, while recording and maintaining hours log for yourself and employees for each project.
· Accurately record daily activities, including labor and materials used.
· Maintain clear line of communication with customers.
· Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and subcontractors.
· Ensuring adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules.
· Emphasizing safety at all times, operate tools and equipment in a safe, controlled and efficient manner.
· Managing and maintaining SiteWorks high quality standards at all job sites.
· Coordinate equipment needs with other crew members to help achieve all SiteWorks goals.
· Resolve problems with projects, materials, and workers as they arise.
· Ability to communicate and report effectively is a must.
· Must be able to perform physical work in various weather conditions, able to lift 50lbs minimum and be on your feet all day.
· Reliable transportation to and from work, along with a clean state driver’s license is a must, CDL is a plus.
· Ability to read and interpret blue prints, and use a laser level with full understanding of elevations to ensure projects are completed in accordance to plan is also a must.
· Experience with construction tools and equipment is required.
· Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and safety standards (OSHA regulations) is expected.
· Will instruct on, operate and maintain a wide variety of hand and power tools, occasionally low level construction equipment safely and effectively.
· Able to work Monday through Friday (sometimes long hours to meet deadlines), occasional weekends.
· OSHA 10 will be required at times (we can help you to obtain).
· Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site.
· The ideal candidate will have a good work ethic, physical endurance (stamina), punctuality, alertness, anticipation of what’s next, willingness to learn, and pays attention to detail to support worksite operations including manual laborer. This person will be able to work independently and with a team, to multi-task, to switch from job to job, and to follow direction as well as give it.
