Job Overview

We seek a skilled and experienced Foreman to lead our on-site construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management. As a Forman, you will oversee daily operations, ensure quality control, and maintain compliance with OSHA standards. Your leadership will drive project success and foster a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

•

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction workers on-site.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications are met.

•

Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.

•

Collaborate with project managers to develop construction schedules.

•

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

•

Train new employees on company policies, safety practices, and job responsibilities.

•

Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Forman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.

•

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.

•

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.

•

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

•

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

•

Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.72 - $28.98 per hour
