We are seeking to find a driven Strategic Projects Manager to contribute success and teamwork within the scopes of imperative projects! The Wholesale Power business at LCRA is at the center of energy transformation occurring worldwide. - Promote collaboration within project teams. Build strong relationships with peers and stakeholders.
- Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manage Wholesale Power projects including project scope, schedule and budget. Ensure that projects are managed within the requirements of all board and financial policies.
- Create, implement, and track mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Develop an understanding of the project objectives through discussions with stakeholders.
- Act as primary contact for stakeholders and for project team members. Document action items and brings them to resolution. Ensure work progresses on time and within budget.
- Nine or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, including two or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget) or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Experience in maintaining large projects within the scopes of time management, budgeting, and communication
