Welder/Fabricator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials as per specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.

- Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and hand tools.

- Utilize power tools and basic math skills for accurate measurements and assembly tasks.

- Conduct rigging operations safely while handling materials and equipment.

- Assemble components according to specifications while ensuring quality control throughout the process.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication.

Experience

- Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.

- Familiarity with ductwork fabrication is a plus.

- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments.

- Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely is preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
