About This Job

Responsibilities:

•

Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Understanding and following technical drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.

•

Fabrication and Welding: Cutting, shaping, and joining metal components using various welding methods.

•

Quality Control: Inspecting completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

•

Material Handling: Preparing materials for welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.

•

Tool and Equipment Operation: Operating hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.

•

Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of work completed and reporting any issues to management.

•

Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.

Skills and Qualifications:

•

Welding Expertise: Proficiency in multiple welding techniques.

•

Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

•

Fabrication Skills: Knowledge of cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.

•

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to welding and fabrication processes.

•

Quality Control: Understanding of quality standards and procedures for metal fabrication.

•

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and procedures.

•

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
