Duties:

- Fabricate & install according to blueprints/drawings and specifications.

- Operate various tools and equipment, such as forklifts, plasma cutter, machining tools, pipe threaders, and plasma cutters.

- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.

- Measure, cut, and shape metal pieces using hand tools or machinery.

- Weld metal components together to create finished products.

- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet industry standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills:

- Proficient in fabricating and welding techniques.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processes.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Familiarity with operating tools and equipment such as forklifts, plasma cutter, machining tools, pipe threaders.

- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Note: Prior experience in fabricating ornamental iron, general fabrication of metals, preferred.

Summary

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in welding and fabrication to create high-quality products. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will read blueprints and employ various hand and power tools to execute precise welds, including MIG and TIG techniques. Your strong mechanical knowledge and time management skills will ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. With a focus on custom fabrication & quality of excellence, you will contribute significantly to our team's success.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
