Welder/Assembly Technician

The Role:

Welder/Assembly Technicians in our Manufacturing shop are foundational to the success of our company. Our proprietary technology is manufactured and assembled with utmost precision, ensuring that each module and various equipment meets our high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

- The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman Welder Certificate with a minimum of 4 years of experience at the Journeyman level.

- The candidate must be able to produce quality welds on both gauge and light structural parts using MIG, TIG, and primarily aluminum processes.

- This role is approximately 30% welding and 70% fabrication and assembly.

- The position requires above average hand and power tool skills and confidence.

- The role requires general labor/fabrication activities including but not limited to: torch and plasma cutting, grinding and zip cuts, drilling and tapping, nut and bolt assembly, etc.

- Other responsibilities included in this position include fit up and fabrication, reading and following drawings, layouts, prototyping, and module modification.

- This position will require infrastructure projects as needed.

- The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift certification, but is not necessary.

Qualifications:

- Journeyman Welder Certificate - Minimum 4 years experience

- Valid and current class 5 drivers license

- Valid forklift certification preferred

- Ability to preform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs

- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems preferred

- Intermediate computer skills

- Ability and willingness to work closely in a team environment
