- Lead and grow a well-established water/wastewater practice with a strong municipal backlog
- Balance technical leadership, client strategy, and people development
- Influence hiring, mentorship, delivery standards, and succession planning
- Serve as a senior advisor to utilities, authorities, and municipal leaders
- Work in a hybrid environment with autonomy expected at leadership level
- Shape the next generation of Project Managers and technical leaders
- Progress toward regional leadership, discipline leadership, or executive roles
- Providing strategic leadership across municipal and utility water/wastewater programs, including treatment, conveyance, and regulatory compliance
- Overseeing multiple Project Managers and technical teams across active capital programs
- Setting and maintaining technical, QA/QC, and delivery standards across the practice
- Partnering with clients on long-range planning, capital improvement programs (CIPs), and funding strategies
- Supporting business development through client relationships, pursuits, and strategic growth initiatives
- Mentoring senior engineers and PMs as part of a long-term leadership succession plan
- Collaborating with regional and national leadership on resource planning and practice strategy
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (PA required or obtainable)
- 15–25+ years of experience in water/wastewater or water resources engineering- Strong background delivering municipal and utility infrastructure programs
- Experience leading teams, practices, or large programs within a consulting environment
- Credibility with municipal clients, authorities, and public-sector stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Ability to balance technical excellence with people and business leadership
