Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Water Mitigation and Fire Remediation Project Manager to lead and oversee mitigation and remediation projects from start to finish. This role requires exceptional project management skills, industry certifications, and the ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and insurance adjusters while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage water, fire, smoke, and mold restoration projects from initiation through completion
•Conduct site inspections, assess damages, and create scopes of work
•Coordinate and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment logistics
•Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and team members
•Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and safety regulations
•Prepare and review documentation, estimates, and change orders using Xactimate
•Maintain project budgets, timelines, and client satisfaction
•Respond to emergency calls on a rotating basis
Qualifications:
•IICRC Certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT), and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) – REQUIRED
•3+ years of experience in project management in the restoration industry
•Strong knowledge of mitigation, remediation, and reconstruction processes
•Proficient with restoration software (e.g., Xactimate, DocuSketch, Drying Reports, etc)
•Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•Ability to work in physically demanding and high-pressure environments
•Must be available for on-call/emergency rotation
Preferred (Not Required):
•Additional IICRC certifications (e.g., AMRT, OCT)
•Experience with commercial loss projects
