We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the estimating process, ensuring accurate and timely cost estimates, and playing a critical role in the project planning and management process. This role requires a strong background in construction estimating and a proven ability to negotiate with clients. Experience with Xactiamte software is preferred. A sense of urgency is a must

Duties

- Manage the estimating process for mitigation and construction projects, including preparing and submitting bids and quotes as well as overseeing the work.

- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess the scope of work for each project.

- Utilize specialized software, such as Xactimate and Matterport, to prepare detailed and accurate estimates of labor and materials required for each project.

- Collaborate with mitigation and construction team to ensure that estimates are aligned with project goals and timelines.

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to negotiate prices and secure contracts.

- Oversee the preparation of bid documents, including proposals, scope of work, and specifications.

- Conduct cost control and pricing analysis to ensure the most cost-effective solutions for each project.

- Manage and coordinate the work of other estimating team members.

- Analyze and interpret construction data to inform estimates and project planning.

Skills

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.

- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.

- Proficiency in specialized estimating software, including Xactimate.

- Ability to negotiate with clients and vendors.

- Experience in heavy bid preparation and pricing.

- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Experience in construction management and a deep understanding of the construction process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
