The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for performing various tasks to support the daily operations of the warehouse. This role involves receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. - Assist with receiving shipments, inspecting goods for damages, and verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Organize and store products in designated locations to ensure efficient access and inventory management.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay informed about procedures and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely; certification may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
- Frequent lifting of inventory items, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during shifts.
