Supervise the daily operations of a specified portion of the Warehouse, including staff, material, equipment, and fulfillment with focus on Customer service.
1. Assist to hire, train, develop, evaluate, and manage Warehouse staff in a specified area.
2. Implement and follow-up of safety, security, and sanitation programs.
3. Execute all Corporate policies, procedures, and programs in a professional and timely manner.
4. Plan and schedule all distribution services, including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned or damaged product, maintenance, and administrative activities.
5. Ensure that Customer requirements are met in an efficient manner.
7. Monitor the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet the best possible production standards for the company to service the Customer.
8. Review, evaluate, and recommend changes for operational procedures and projects.
9. Coordinate with all other Departments to ensure maximum Customer satisfaction.
10. Administer discipline for the reporting staff, as needed.
11. Monitor all transportation companies for pick-up times and driver service issues.
12. Open or close the facility, as need.
13. Any other related duties assigned by Management.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum of five years’ experience in warehouse leadership is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to perform operational procedures, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to move and/or lift up to 70 pounds. The vision requirements include distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
This position will supervise Coordinators, Equipment Operators, and Subordinates.
