Open Positions: Packing Line

- Forklift and Overhead Crane experience is a plus!! All candidates must be able and willing to work in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

- Package material by the instruction on the Shop Order using the Packaging Profile or as instructed

- Keep up with the inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators and skids

- Skidding material

- Generate computer assisted set-up

- Selecting proper knives; set up slitter head; select and lay out tooling

- Assist operator/helper, check shipping paperwork

- Load/unload coils onto flat bed trucks/railcars using forklift and overhead crane

- Proper placement of coils in the warehouse

- Inspect, measure, using all tools required for each job in production and shipping departments

- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production departments

- Must be able to walk, stand, bend

- Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethics in working as a team

- Safety minded at all times

Experience

Required Skills:

- 1-3 years working in hot environment warehouse
