Warehouse Manager - Fuel & Oil Distributor

Job Overview: The Warehouse Manager directs receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, possess the ability to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations

· Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization

· Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

· Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements

· Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security

· Manage stock control and reconcile with the inventory data system

· Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies

· Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees

· Produce reports and statistics regularly

· Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

· Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

· Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases

· Leadership skills and ability to manage staff

· Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager

· Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

· CDL Class A Hazmat Driver’s License

· Forklift operation

· Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· A working knowledge of OSHA and HAZMAT compliance is required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
