Job Description: Full-Time Warehouse Lead/Delivery Driver

We are currently looking for a team player to fill an immediate position of a Warehouse Lead/Deliver Driver. For this position, we’re looking for an ambitious, hardworking professional who can handle the daily operations of the warehouse, including freight, picking, shipping, receiving and returns. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining and conducting vehicle/trailer inspection reports, showroom displays, backorder reports, inventory counts, warranties and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

· Accurately pick orders, ensuring they are ready when the customer arrives, along with processing delivery and shipping orders.

· Accurately receive products in from vendors using an industry specific computer system.

· Assist customers with loading and unloading product(s) to and from their vehicle.

· Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report any problems or issues.

· Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations.

· Pack, load and secure products onto vehicles or trailers as per company specifications.

· Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.

· Unload orders as per customer specifications.

· Perform physical inventory counts.

· Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish goals and to resolve any problems that might occur.

· Perform necessary housekeeping duties to keep and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Position Requirements:

· One or more years of prior warehouse and/or delivery experience

· High School Diploma or GED

· Valid Class A CDL (No Air Brake) is preferred, but not required

· Able to operate a forklift and pull trailers

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)

· Ability to pass drug and alcohol test

· Must have reliable transportation

· Ability to lift up to 80 pounds

· Good listening, verbal, and written communication skills

· Must be computer literate and able to learn required software programs

· Able to operate FedEx and UPS programs

· Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

· Ability to learn and retain processes, procedures and product information quickly while meeting company expectations or deadlines

· Professional in appearance, attitude and action
