Qualitech is looking for a Warehouse Lead for their Food Solutions department.
The warehouse lead ensures all shipping, receiving, picking, and inventory reconciliation tasks are completed each day. They are responsible for coordinating and training the employees in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving and picking.
Key job functions include organization and management of warehouse functions and workflow, maintaining accurate inventory counts, ensuring first in first out (FIFO) for raw materials and finished goods, resolving problems, and ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Efficient and organized storage of raw materials, WIP and finished goods within the facility
+ Completes cycle count per the defined schedule; compares results to system inventory and reconciles as needed
+ FIFO and lot control policies/best practices are being followed by warehouse team
•Ensures daily warehouse tasks are completed (picking/shipping/receiving):
+ Prompt receipt of inbound materials
+ On-time delivery of finished goods
+ Materials are picked and arranged for production
+ Warehouse Organization
+ Inventory reconciliation of location, lot, and quantity
•Physically performing warehouse functions as needed due to PTO and/or large campaigns:
+ Picking; 20-30%
+ Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Organization; 30-40%
+ Inventory Reconciliation Tasks 20%
+ Team Lead & Training 10%
•Performing daily inspection of warehouse floor:
+ Warehouse is clean and organized
+ Inventory identification tags are clear and legible
•Collaborating and coordinating activities with other departments as needed, including:
+ Participating in Continuous Improvement events.
+ Helping develop and implement SSOPs and SOPs.

Education and Experience
•8 years progressively responsible experience including shipping, receiving, and warehouse inventory management
•Demonstrated knowledge of warehousing and logistics practices and principles.
•Certified forklift operator
•Working knowledge of food safety, feed safety or other applicable regulations
•Behavior based safety experience
•Inventory management experience
•Certified sit down and stand up forklift Operator
Knowledge and Skills
•Computer skills including ERP and inventory transaction tracking
•Detail oriented with ability to work on multiple tasks at once
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•Ability to manage and adapt to change
