Warehouse, Facilities, and Fleet Manager
Salary Range: $60,000 – $90,000
Reports To: Vice President of Special Projects
Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
Schedule: Full-Time – Exempt. Usual schedule M-F 7am -4pm. Some Saturday mornings.
Position Summary
The Warehouse, Facilities, and Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, building maintenance, and company vehicle fleet management. This role plays a key part in supporting field operations, ensuring timely material handling, safe facility conditions, and reliable fleet performance. The manager will lead a team and work closely with cross-functional departments to drive efficiency, safety, and accountability.
Primary Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
•Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
•Receive and inspect deliveries from vendors; confirm accuracy and condition of materials.
•Maintain and stock all Kingdom material.
•Perform weekly cycle counts of inventory.
•Coordinate and manage return material authorizations (RMAs) for incorrect or damaged shipments.
•Oversee the safe loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
•Stage inventory to maximize time efficiency and space utilization.
•Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
•Process and resolve work order requests in a timely manner.
Facilities Management
•Ensure ongoing cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance of the facility, including:
•Painting and minor repairs
•Enforce building safety standards and compliance procedures.
Fleet Management
•Develop and manage maintenance schedules for all company vehicles.
•Coordinate non-routine repairs and monitor vehicle condition.
•Maintain fleet records and develop replacement schedules for aging vehicles.
•Enforce fleet safety policies and procedures for all drivers and staff.
•Report and manage all fleet-related accidents and insurance claims.
Required Qualifications
•Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and 2 years of supervisory experience.
•Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
•Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
•Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
•Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
•Valid forklift certification.
•OSHA 10 or higher safety certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
•Familiarity with solar energy materials and equipment.
Physical Requirements
•Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
•Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and crawling.
•Ability to safely operate ladders, hand tools, and power equipment.
