Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, materials management, and operations management to optimize warehouse performance.

Duties

•

Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping. Must have OSHA, operate forklift.

Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems to enhance operational efficiency.

•

Manage transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.

•

Develop and enforce policies and procedures for warehouse safety and compliance.

•

Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline processes.

•

Monitor profit loss metrics and implement strategies for cost reduction while maximizing productivity.

•

Manage fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained and compliant with regulations.

•

Procure necessary materials and supplies to support warehouse functions.

•

Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff to foster a productive work environment.

Skills

•

Strong knowledge of profit loss analysis and financial management within a warehouse setting.

•

Proficient in transportation management principles and practices.

•

Expertise in operations management with a focus on optimizing workflows.

•

Experience in materials management including inventory control and procurement processes.

•

Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) operations is highly desirable.

•

Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and shipments.

•

Strong fleet management skills to ensure operational efficiency of delivery vehicles.

•

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

•

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
