We are looking to add to our team in Cottage Grove, OR.
Our Warehouse Manager plays a vital role and is at the core of our company, helping to manage, organize, and coordinate activities associated with our main warehouse and supply yard. We are looking for motivated, physically agile, collaborative individuals to join our team. Position may involve some travel.
1. Supply Management: Assist with requisitioning, stocking, pulling materials, receipt and distribution of supplies. Unload and load trucks. Collaborate with Foremen to determine project needs. Communicate with other Warehouse Manager and vendors.
2. Warehouse Organization: Monitor inventory, ensure labeling is accurate, maintain records and cleanliness including inside warehouse and outside yard, perform regular inventory audits and work towards optimizing warehouse efficiency and organization.
3. Utilize Tools and Equipment. Use, manage, and care for a variety of tools and equipment throughout the workday including but not limited to forklift, testing equipment, hand tools, rental equipment, vehicles, trailers, etc.…
4. Delivery: Prepares materials for distribution, deliver periodically throughout Oregon. Includes driving truck, trailer, forklift and heavy equipment (for transport).
5. Fleet Management: Coordinate maintenance (and preventative maintenance), repairs and replacement of company’s fleet and construction equipment. Monitor fuel expenditures to support budgetary goals. Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Collaborate with staff regarding the availability of fleet for project needs.
6. Safety: Perform safety checks, participate in safety discussions, and uphold the highest standards in safety.
7. Documentation: Utilize a variety of computer software programs to complete technical work, communicate with co-workers, and maintain accurate tracking, including Email, Microsoft Teams, Trello, and more. Prepare reports and develop processes and procedures related to warehouse operations.
