The Warehouse Coordinator in Lloydminster is responsible for upholding the highest safety standards while managing the yard, interacting with clients, handling products, and supporting daily operations. This role also involves assisting with administrative tasks and is crucial for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the facility. The Warehouse Coordinator helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff.
o Ensure all yard areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
o Perform regular inspections and maintenance of yard equipment and tools.
o Assist in greeting clients and visitors, providing a positive and professional first impression.
o Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel or departments.
o Address client inquiries and provide information about the facility and services.
o Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
o Ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage.
o Coordinate and assist in the delivery of products to clients, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
o Place orders for products through vendors including Brenntag, Chevron, Mobil, and Greg’s Distributors.
o Order and manage necessary supplies for warehouse operations.
o Perform general tasks as required to support business needs.Assist in the coordination and execution of daily operations within the facility.
o Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
o Provide support for special projects and events as needed.
o Phone Management: Answer incoming phone calls and direct them as required.
o Database Management: Enter fuel product purchases into the database.
· Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably in a facility or yard operations environment.
· Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to operate yard equipment safely and efficiently.
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Basic computer proficiency, including using Excel, processing orders, creating Standard Operating Procedures, and handling email correspondence.Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
