Receives, unpacks, and examines incoming shipments for the company and distributes deliveries to correct departments. Print off shipping labels and ship outgoing
packages to customers. Perform data entries and ensure inventory records are accurate.
- Performs data entry of receipts, issues, and transfers of productive and MRO materials
- Receives all items ordered by the company
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Distributes items to correct department after delivery
- Ships out orders that were placed by customers
- Prints off shipping labels and places them onto outgoing packages
- Researches and resolves inventory discrepancies
- Performs daily cycle counts of inventoried material
- Works with purchasing department to return material to supplier
- Operates materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and hand carts
- Maintain a chain of communication with all departments
- May be assigned to drive delivery truck
- Maintain safe and clean work area
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Excellent organizational skills
High school diploma, GED, or equal years of experience
One year of general warehouse or similar experience preferred
Lifting up to 40 pounds - 80% of shift

Work takes place in a climate controlled warehouse. The volume in the warehouse is moderate. Personal protective equipment, such as safety
glasses and steel toe boots, are required.
This position could lead to advancement to a Warehouse Leader position.
