Job Purpose
The Warehouse attendant under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor shall be an integral component of SeAH Steel USA that shall focus on maintaining the warehouse and keeping the parts inventory.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain records of inventory.
- Maintain current product knowledge and categorization of spare part inventory.
- Assist in development of departmental procedures as directed by Warehouse Supervisor and SR. Storeroom Coordinator.
- Collaborate with purchasing department with receiving process verification.
- Enter accurate, consistent data as well as enhancements to the inventory structure within the CMMS (EPICOR).
- Issue parts/equipment as requested.
- Receive and load outbound shipments.
- Perform cycle counts to make sure the inventory is accurate.
- File and maintain warehouse documents and records.
- Always operate the forklift following all the safety regulations established by HSE department.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Exceptional reading, writing and Computer skills.
- Ability to organize vast amounts of data and multi-task several priorities with excellent time management.
- Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
- Employee must be able to work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time.
- Safety: Understands all applicable plant safety rules and regulations and makes sure that all are being followed.
- Working conditions are split between a professional office environment and a normal manufacturing environment.
- Work involves delegated and operation detail.
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
- Standing for long periods of time, squatting, twisting, bending, and lifting between 10-50 lbs..
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
- The ability to work in loud, hot environments/extreme weather while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to see 20-20 when corrected.
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
