Warehouse Associate

Company Overview:

Universal Oil is a 148-year-old, 100% employee-owned fuel & lubricant company in Cleveland. We seek a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our growing digital business. This role is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse tasks, including labeling pails, pouring oil into containers, fulfilling online orders, and assisting with other general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Labeling: Accurately apply labels to pails and other containers as per product specifications and customer requirements.

· Pouring Oil: Safely and efficiently pour oil and lubricants into pails, ensuring correct quantities and avoiding contamination.

· Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship online orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness from order receipt to dispatch.

· Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow all company safety protocols and procedures.

· Equipment Use: Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as required.

· General Support: Perform other miscellaneous tasks and duties to support warehouse operations as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· 18 years or older.

· Tow motor experience.

· Previous warehouse or production experience is a plus.

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Basic computer or handheld scanner skills for order processing.

· Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well independently and with a team.

Working Conditions:

· Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to oils and lubricants.

· Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.

· Frequent physical activity, including standing, lifting, bending, and reaching.

Days and Hours:

· Full-Time

· Monday - Friday

· 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch

· 8-hour days
