Arrowhead Line is a rapidly growing powerline services company headquartered in Canyon, Texas. We specialize in electric services for overhead distribution, underground electric construction, and storm response, with a reputation for safety and operational excellence. Our team is built on decades of hands-on experience—from journeyman lineworkers to seasoned executive professionals—who understand the critical role reliability and responsiveness play in keeping the grid moving. As we expand our operations geographically, we are searching for a VP of Sales with existing relationships with IOUs and electrical coops, and experience building out a sales organization to assist us in growing this platform to a nationwide level!
- Leverage your IOU and Coop relationships to secure new business opportunities with electric cooperatives, IOUs, municipalities, and private contractors
- Travel throughout the region to meet with prospects and existing clients, nurturing existing relationships, building new relationships, and identifying upcoming needs
- Work closely with operations to develop practical, field-ready proposals and bids
- Recruit and lead an outbound sales team, and develop strategies to position Arrowhead Line as a trusted partner in the utility services sector
- Represent Arrowhead at industry events, regional association meetings, and client site visits
- Maintain a deep understanding of project cycles, utility procurement processes, and field constraints to ensure realistic and competitive offerings
- Minimum of
15 years of experience
in the powerline or utility services industry
- Exhaustive utility relationships with both leaders at IOUs and electrical coops
- Proven experience in
sales, business development, or client relations
- Comfortable managing relationships across technical field teams and executive-level decision-makers
- Ability and willingness to
travel regularly
throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, and surrounding areas
- Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
- Deep familiarity with electric cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, and their purchasing processes
