VENDOR / SUPPLIER COMPLIANCE AUDITOR

About This Job

AMS-PAR is adding experienced vendor / supplier lead auditors to our compliance audit team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The vendor / supplier lead auditors will be responsible for:

•

Reviewing contracts and identifying risks, and opportunities to improve business relationships.

•

Evaluating data sets and developing test plans to achieve project objectives.

•

Coordinating with vendors / suppliers to execute audit test plan.

•

Effectively negotiating settlements.

•

Managing project budgets.

•

Effectively communicating results and corrective actions verbally and in written form throughout the engagement.

KEY CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

•

Vendor / supplier lead auditor experience, including of muti-person audit teams.

•

Proven compliance audit experience, preferably in the Energy and Utility business sectors.

•

Critical and strategic thinker.

•

Strong analytical skills.

•

Organized and able to maintain well documented workpapers.

•

Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple engagements.

•

Self-directed and able to work independently in a virtual environment.

•

Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•

Ability to mentor staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

•

Bachelor’s degree (e.g., accounting, mathematics, supply chain management).

•

Minimum of 5 years of direct subject matter experience.

•

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications and larger and smaller accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

•

Multi-lingual a plus.

LOCATION / TRAVEL

•

Houston based preferred, but office virtually.

•

Less than 10%.
