Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east. The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County. We are seeking talented candidates to join our team for the position of:
PCWA is seeking an individual with at least one year of experience performing basic maintenance and repair tasks related to gasoline, diesel and/or alternative fuel powered automotive, heavy construction and other power-driven equipment.
- lubricate chassis, hydraulic and equipment parts
- change oil and other fluids
- change a variety of belts and hoses
- complete basic brake replacement jobs
- test, service, recharge and change batteries
- fill, rotate and change tires
- wash, vacuum and maintain general appearance of vehicles and equipment
- obtain and renew vehicle license plates and registrations
- assist in inspecting vehicles and equipment to diagnose issues and determine appropriate repairs
- perform safety checks
