The role of an Engineering intern is to create electrical design of Electrical and Instrumentation systems for Assembly, review and create drawings for New Brunswick Power, and create work/assembly instructions. Key deliverables will be assembly diagrams and electrical schematic blackline drawings.
Work Location: 2001 Proenergy Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301
- Design assembly diagrams, create and review drawings for New Brunswick Power based on input from the PROENERGY Engineering team members, manufacturers, and end-user, if applicable.
- Work with the Electrical engineers to capture redlines and create work instructions and assembly drawings.
- Check drawings, parts lists, and cable schedules for accuracy and thoroughness and notify the Design Engineer or Engineering Manager of any non-conformance within the engineering system..
- Attend design reviews as required.
- Sophomore or higher with at least one year of coursework enrolled in Electrical Engineering with an interest in Power Generation and Controls Wiring.
- Must read, write and speak fluent English.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidates will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Completed basic electrical engineering coursework (Circuits I, and Circuits II).
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, logic drawings, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner.
