Sure Shot Environmental Ltd. is an Alberta based company servicing customers in the Utility, Oil & Gas, and Municipal Industries throughout Alberta. The company specializes in Utility Patrolling and Consenting, Quality Audits and Inspections, Herbicide Applications and Environmental Site Assessments.

Position: Utility Forester

Description:

This is a full-time position as a Utility Forester conducting vegetation assessments on Powerline Right-of-Ways and consulting with landowners/stakeholders/municipalities regarding the proposed work. Applicants will be required to work and travel throughout the province of Alberta.

Qualifications:

· Registered RPF, RPFT, UTT, UTW or ISA Certification

· Past Experience/Education in utility, environmental, arboricultural, forestry and reclamation fields an asset

· Valid class 5 drivers license

· Standard First Aid with CPR required, assets include: CSTS, H2S and ATV/UTV/Snowmobile Training

· An understanding of Alberta Legal Land Descriptions

· Tree species identification

· Organized, legible writing, self-motivation, team player, positive attitude and leadership abilities

Wage/Rate:

· Wage is based on previous experience and qualifications

· Paid as a day rate based on a 8-10hrs/day

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $280.00-$360.00 per day
