Salary range: $92,185.00 to $115,232.00
This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and support
of the Avangrid Renewables Corporate Infrastructure and Associated
Applications, with emphasis on current infrastructure around Disaster
Recovery and Business Continuity. The successful candidate will possess
a high-level of technical expertise in infrastructure architecture,
• Create and support stable network and server environment.
• Work closely with the application support team to enable solid
OT infrastructure. Perform, coordinate, and manage tasks to ensure
• Light DBA efforts for SQL and Oracle environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain solid information security,
paying special attention to regulatory issues as regards NERC CIPs.
• Create and perform best practices for server stability &
• Manage SAN/NAS storage across multiple disparate devices and
• Work closely with both technical and non-technical staff to
create a resilient and highly-available infrastructure for systems
• Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education
• Minimum 5 years Windows system administration or MCSE.
• Minimum 5 years Microsoft Active Directory experience
• Minimum 1 year Information Security Experience or CISSP
• Minimum 5 years in a technical support role.
• Demonstrated history of exceptional customer service Strong
Microsoft product suite knowledge, with emphasis on Visio and/or other
• Strong history of managing complex efforts with demanding
• Experience with or knowledge of Disaster Recovery philosophies
• Experience with or knowledge of Business Continuity
• Minimum 1 year Visual Basic Scripting Experience.
• Minimum 1 year VMWare ESX administration, over multiple
• Minimum 2 years Backup System Experience (Symantec
• Minimum 1 year System Center or other centralized management
• Minimum 1 year Symantec Antivirus using centralized management
and building consensus at all levels of a matrixed global organization.
• Ability to foster and participate in a productive team
• Effectively provides and receives information orally in
