About Houston

ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

The Upstream Reservoir Supervisor position leads a team of staff and contractor reservoir engineers and subsurface technical professionals to deliver optimal asset development, reservoir management and operations excellence to Upstream assets in the development and production stages. The role involves oversight of subsurface technical deliverables, managing career development of team members and workflow coordination. You will work with other cross-functional teams in a high-visibility role and spearhead communication to leadership and stakeholders.

The position is located at ExxonMobil campus in Houston, Texas.

What you will do

Position responsibilities can include:

•

Supervising subsurface technical work and taking ownership of business results.

•

Developing and training others to reach full potential.

•

Identifying and assigning team members to tasks and projects based on business drivers and team skills sets.

•

Developing and stewarding plans and budgets for team and asset activities.

•

Building and maintaining strong and profitable working relationships with internal teams, external customers, contractors, business partners, governments, non-governmental organizations and communities in which we operate.

Skills and Qualifications

•

Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering required - preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical

•

A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry work experience

Foundational reservoir engineering skills, including: reservoir characterization, depletion planning, simulation and performance prediction, reserves assessment, economics, surveillance and opportunity generation.

•

Strong leadership, communication skills, and presence.

•

Good organization and prioritization skills

•

Demonstrated teamwork, especially with cross-functional and international teams.

•

Courage of conviction the ability to constructively challenge approach as necessary.

•

Demonstrated focus on achieving business results.
