Reservoir Engineer with Unconventional Drilling Experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservoir Engineer with extensive experience in unconventional drilling techniques on an international scale. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of reservoir behavior, simulation, and management, coupled with a proven track record in optimizing production from unconventional resources.

Responsibilities:

1. Reservoir Analysis and Modeling:

Conduct comprehensive reservoir studies using advanced simulation tools to optimize production strategies and enhance recovery rates.

2. Drilling and Completion Optimization:

Develop and implement drilling and completion strategies for unconventional reservoirs, ensuring cost-efficiency and maximum resource recovery.

3. Production Forecasting:

Utilize reservoir modeling techniques to forecast production rates, evaluate performance, and recommend operational adjustments as needed.

4. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Analyze well performance data, production logs, and pressure data to assess reservoir behavior and performance trends.

5. Collaboration and Technical Support:

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, geophysicists, and drilling engineers to integrate geological data and optimize reservoir development plans.

6. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Identify potential reservoir risks and uncertainties; develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize operational disruptions.

7. International Project Management:

Manage and coordinate reservoir engineering activities across international projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
