Our Marketing & Communications team is responsible for managing and building Hydro One’s brand internally and externally, while ensuring effective communication with our customers, communities, and stakeholders.

This co-op position will support brand initiatives and campaign development, with opportunities to collaborate closely with both the social and digital teams.

General Accountabilities:

- Support End-to-End Campaign Management: Assist in planning, developing, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns to ensure seamless delivery and impactful results.

- Create and Edit Marketing Content: Develop, review, and refine marketing materials, including newsletters, social media posts, and other promotional assets.

- Act as a Key Liaison: Serve as the bridge between the marketing team and internal/external stakeholders, including cross-functional departments and agency partners.

- Collaborate on Strategic Plans: Work closely with team members to design and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies that align with organizational goals.

- Facilitate Team Coordination: Organize and schedule meetings, take comprehensive notes, and follow up on actionable items to ensure progress and accountability.

- Ensure Timely Project Delivery: Coordinate with teams to monitor deadlines, track progress, and deliver projects on schedule.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Take on other duties as needed to contribute to the team’s success.

Selection Criteria:

- Strong Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.

- Strong Organizational and Planning Skills: Demonstrated ability to stay organized, plan ahead, and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

- Committed and Collaborative: A team player who is aligned with Hydro One’s values and goals and contributes positively to a collaborative work environment.

- Relationship Builder: Able to work effectively in a project-based environment, building strong partnerships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Post-Graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

The base salary for this role considers a variety of factors, including candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, education, and any applicable collective agreement requirements for union-represented positions.
