We are currently seeking dedicated full-time and part-time Unarmed Guard's to join our DIA team. This position is available for both full-time and part-time basis. All guards are required to work at least one day each weekend. Candidates must be residents of Colorado by their first day of employment.

Hiring Hourly Range: $18.81 - $23.00

Advanced Professional Security is currently not hiring individuals who require sponsorship for employment. We encourage all applicants to ensure they meet the necessary work authorization requirements prior to applying.

Responsibilities:

- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in vehicle to ensure personnel, building, and equipment security.

- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms and respond to security breaches.

- Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents.

- Maintain daily logs and reports, including incident reports and shift activity logs.

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

- Enforce access control procedures and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.

- Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.

- Respond to emergencies, such as medical or fire, and take appropriate action.

- Follow all company policies and procedure, including safety and security protocols.

- Perform additional duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English

- Must be able to pass a drug test, which includes marijuana

- Must be technologically proficient

- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact courteously with diverse individuals.

- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and protocols meticulously.

- Physical fitness to stand/walk for extended periods and perform routine patrols.

- High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Skills:

- Current Denver Guard Card

- Law enforcement or military training
